Bring your community spirit & join us for an afternoon of fun at Picnic with the Police!

This free community event provides families with an opportunity to meet Calgary Police Service (CPS) members, learn more about policing in Calgary, & enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities.

 Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026

 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 Stanley Park, 330 42 Avenue S.W.

Attendees can enjoy free food, music, face painting, a craft station & sports activities, including laser relays, while also having the opportunity to meet members of the Mounted Patrol Unit & Bike Team  

 Marked police vehicles will be on site for children to explore & visitors can learn more about CPS technology & operations through a drone demonstration.

 Families are encouraged to bring a gently used book to exchange for a new title to take home.

 We look forward to connecting with community members.
